Given wartime paper shortages, the jacket was printed on the verso of another book's jacket, in this case, Air Challenge and the Locusts by Hugh Wansey Bayly. Near Fine or better, with spine ends rubbed, top edge dust-soiled, two light spots to upper cover, but text block clean, square and tight. About Fine jacket, bright and unfaded, with trivial rubbing to spine panel ends. A well-preserved copy of the author’s third book and second collection of short stories. Polk AB3:1b.
