Strikingly bound in birch bark with rawhide ties end paper illustrations on peach stock by Rockwell Kent (one featuring a woodsman chopping down a tree, presumably for paper pulp, the other workers operating a press). 8vo (210 x 165mm): pp. Laid in are two copies of the menu (Rocky River salmon, baby lamb forrestier, fromage de la trappe, and, for dessert, lumberjack's dream), entitled “A Very Dry Luncheon After the Manner of Shelter Bay." Printed, fittingly, on newsprint, with names of the attendees at previous gatherings listed by year. An extraordinary survival, newsprint tanned (as expected) but not brittle, else Fine. Fine.
