Fine Editions have been our passion for more than twenty years.
From the hand-press period, we favor rare and antiquarian works on voyages and travel, gardens and landscape design, poetry, the classical world, and the age of enlightenment, many with engravings and hand-colored maps, and titles drawn from the landmark exhibition "Printing & the Mind of Man." Our nineteenth-century holdings include early Baedekers, Americana, Dickens and Darwin in original cloth, and color-plate books with all styles of illustration. Finally, in the area of modern firsts, the slant is toward literary high spots, often drawn from the lists compiled by Cyril Connolly and Anthony Burgess.
While we do not maintain open premises, our carefully chosen and expertly catalogued selection of fine books may be seen by advance appointment. We are always happy to hear from customers with questions about books in our inventory or who wish to sell rare items in our areas of specialty.
