Worthington was a Church of England clergyman and religious writer, who published on various theological issues. His brief entry in the ODNB makes no mention of this title, and indeed the book is scarce in commerce, with only one recorded at auction by RBH, in 1871; the Bowyer ledgers record only 500 copies printed. According to the Land of Eden map, Eden was located in what is now Iraq. N. B.
